Death penalty trend
In recent days, large number of groups has considered other alternative punishments instead of death penalty. There are statistics which demonstrated that death sentences have dropped down dramatically each year. In addition, capital punishment has been abolished in Connecticut (a state in the USA) on April, 2012, which may has potential influence on other abolitionists’ behaviour. In spite of Connecticut, 16 states have already joined the group in rejecting capital punishment. Not to mention the United States, use of death penalty has shrink worldwide and the number of death sentences has continuing declining.
